NSW privacy laws will apply to any information which the NSW Ministry of Health collects from individuals when they use this website. Sometimes there are links to websites outside of the NSW Ministry of Health and you should be aware the NSW Ministry of Health has no control over the privacy policies that apply to those sites.
Information we collect
When you look through the SafeScript NSW website, we automatically record information such as:
- Information about your device. One example, the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer used to access the page
- Date and time of your visit to the site
- Pages on the site accessed and documents downloaded
- Previous site visited
- Type of browser (two examples are Google Chrome or Internet Explorer) and the operating system (for example the version of Windows or macOS for Apple) you have used.
How do we use and share the information collected?
The NSW Ministry of Health uses the information to see how the website is used. We use this information to improve the site.
We will only publish information that identifies you with your permission or if we can do so under the NSW privacy laws.

Is the information stored securely?
Yes. The NSW Ministry of Health stores the information in a secure format.

We will update this policy from time to time if we change the way we do things and it impacts on our privacy obligations or if the privacy laws change.
